I must confess, I have a lot of friends, but for the ones that close to heart, that's another story. Anyway, if you're lucky enough *ahhem to be one of my best friend, or you are a good friend quality, maybe I will tag you along to really cool parties, hehe, one like the BFF Makeup Party last Sunday!

I was invited to attend the BCL BFF Makeup Party. Tagged along with one of my BFF Mae, I must say it was a splendid journey. The party outcome was unexpected, unexpectedly good.

I must admit that I was a bit skeptical about the BCL company at first, as I've never heard of it!

How much the invitation icon look like the California "B" brand? Very much, at least to me.

So I did some research and realized BCL actually stands for Beauty Creative Lab. The company's brand image is that they really take make up seriously, which is a good thing, because who wants to kid around with something that goes on the face?

Looking at the packaging, it beams "scientifically proven good" to me.

Of the four looks last year that they show, they brought us 2 new looks this year.

Which one do you fancy?

Hiroki-san updated us that the latest trend includes applying the fake eye bags to make the eyes appear bigger and cuter - the innocent look. *ahhem . Seriously just count me off.

BCL branched out with a lot of different brands and categories. Makemania Data eye makeup range is definitely my favorite one of them all.

Such a fantastic experience learning makeup techniques from the Jap make up artist Hiroki-san all the way from Japan! Not to mention he's hot. *wink wink

Other than make up products, I also love Japanese ok.*slurp.

This is the Makemania Data range I mentioned earlier. This "magic pen" is my favorite among the all, it's the easiest eye shadow pen ever, EVER.

At the end of the event of course, all of us walk away with awesome goodies.

Even the BCL company's worker are super Japanese ArigatoOyasumiHamasakiAshiteruOhayo! Kawaii max!

And I feel so loved that they even brought us Donutes cake with cute macaroon on top.

Ok, I'm #sold.

After a frantic and exciting match, *phew!* Germany has at last won the final match with a close 1:0 versus Argentina. I secretly hoped that it’s a draw so that I can witness another penalty match! L

Anyway I had a lot of fun with D Football Festival held at the One Utama! And the organizer transformed the space into a happening party and football ground!

This year's World Cup is full of surprises and also a lot of unexpected results. With years of perseverance, Germany has at last won the WORLD CUP *tears* Such a long road. I hope there are more handsome footballer next year and actually I don't really care about the match, I just want see more hunks running and sweating. MORE!

Internship can be important, but what to learn is no longer something to that can be obtain from book. And then somebody gave me some good advice.

1. Don't be too honest.

That doesn't mean lie, but if someone asks you how do you really feel about their beautiful looking dog. If it's fugly, don't say its fugly, if it's not going to change their mind since they've already predestined your comment for "beautiful." Just say it looks so pretty!

2. Find something to do!

If you have nothing to do, go read a book, research a topic. Do something that you think will be helpful to the company. Of course, make yourself known to the powers at be that you are doing something.

3. If you are going to be late, you need to explain yourself.

When giving excuses, no one wants to hear long winded stories about how you got a flat tire and called every tow truck company and paid bloody expensive towing charges. Just keep it simple "I got a flat tire and need to fix it."

4. Always make your accolades known, especially if it sounds easy.

If the task sounds difficult but is easy, no need to make your accolades known as its obvious, just let people know you've finished it fast, which ties in to the next point.

5. If you are spending time doing something which sounds trivial but is not an easy task, make sure people know the process you are going through. Share your challenges and complaints about your shitty task with the world!

6. Coffee is intern's only BFF <3

If you can drink coffee in the morning, drink it. Because no coffee is going to make you lethargic as a slug.

7. Shut up and listen!

When people ask you for your idea. Shut up and listen! Just bite your tongue on that! Maybe give it, but if they are telling you their idea is such a good one then asking for help, sorry, they don't really want your idea, they just want someone to tell them their idea is good!

8. When people ask you for any feedback after getting a scolding, don't say much except "Yes sir, thank you very much, can I have another (scolding)?"

Because whatever you say is not really going to change their mind. Explanations are going to kill expectations.
